CLAUDE_CODE_FORCE_SYNC_OUTPUT

1 に設定すると、端末が対応しているのに自動検出されない場合に、DEC プライベートモード 2026 の同期出力を強制的に有効にする。BSU/ESU を実装しているがケイパビリティプローブに応答しない Emacs eat のようなエミュレーターで便利である。tmux 下では効果がない。フルスクリーン描画に切り替える CLAUDE_CODE_NO_FLICKER と異なり、レンダラーは変更しない

使い方・用途

  • Emacs eat のように BSU/ESU を実装しているのに端末能力の照会に応答しないエミュレータで、DEC private mode 2026 の同期出力を有効にしたい場合に使う。
  • 端末は同期出力に対応しているのに Claude Code の自動検出が見逃す場合に、強制的に同期出力を有効にしたい場合に使う。

Set to 1 to force-enable DEC private mode 2026 synchronized output when your terminal supports it but is not auto-detected. Useful for emulators such as Emacs eat that implement BSU/ESU but do not reply to the capability probe. Has no effect under tmux. Unlike CLAUDE_CODE_NO_FLICKER, which switches to fullscreen rendering, this doesn't change the renderer
